The opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility due for completion in October 2022 has contributed to bringing this vision to life.
This facility is in the Nexus Industrial Estate in Dandenong South and was developed in partnership with Salta Properties. Kings were attracted to the Nexus Industrial Estate due to the strategic location, quality building and Salta’s vision and intimate knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry. We appreciate and acknowledge that Salta Properties has an eye for detail, exceptional quality, and high standards.
Salta Properties, Managing Director Sam Tarascio welcomed us as we signed a five-year lease as the latest tenant at the industrial precinct. “The agreement with Kings Group reinforces Nexus Dandenong South’s position as a first-class industrial estate that appeals to tenants of all sizes due to its connections to the city, the Port of Melbourne, and major commercial, retail and residential areas,” said Mr Tarascio.
Kings will be located at the 143 Portlink Drive development, which is currently under construction. With limited pallet spaces left and filling fast, this is the start of an extremely exciting step forward in the expansion of our national warehouse roadmap. Kings Group joins a list of well-known tenants at Nexus Industrial Estate in Dandenong South including Visa Global Logistics, Haulotte Australia Pty Ltd, Silk Logistics and Bunnings. An opportunity to occupy and function in a facility like this will greatly improve our quality and value proposition to market in 3PL warehousing.
This brand-new space is an expansion of our current 3PL warehouse facilities and is high-profile with two levels of office spaces totalling 725 square metres. This means Kings can support an extensive range of customers looking for a brand-new permanent home or needing overflow support during busy periods. Fully integrated transport services are available to complement the 3PL warehouse operations, and long-term overflow pallet storage within an environmentally sustainable, modern, safe, and clean warehouse facility. This eminent facility will have 4 dock doors for container de-stuffing and 6 ground-level doors for receiving and despatch providing high-velocity efficiency.
