Booking/Delivery Procedure

All deliveries need to be booked on site at one of our Delivery Counters. (Kings are located just after the checkouts)

Goods to be delivered must be paid for and a copy of your IKEA receipt needs to be presented.

Customer details are taken along with 2 contact numbers.

All Metropolitan deliveries are either Same Day or Next Day depending on the current cut off for delivery windows in store.

You will be contacted either the day prior or on the morning of your delivery, advising you of an AM or PM window for your delivery. Also on the day of delivery, the drivers will give you a call between 30 to 60 minutes on approach before arrival.

If you are not able to be home to accept the delivery, we will, with your written permission (this must be given at the point of delivery or faxed to us before the day of your delivery) leave the goods at your delivery address.

Cancellations will incur a fee of $20 once an order has been received and processed by Kings. Kings may make changes to your delivery date and time up to 6pm the day prior. The full delivery fee will be forfeited if the goods have been loaded onto a vehicle and delivery not accepted.
