News6 January 2010 For the 2nd year running, the Kings group has been associated with the Carbon Reduction Institute by submitting fuel consumption details for all our company owned vehicles for the period of Oct 08 through to Oct 09 and purchased carbon credits to offset the C02 emissions making our company owned vehicles carbon neutral for this period.
With the increased number of company owned vehicles over the last 12 months, the expense has naturally increased, but further shows the commitment the Kings Group has towards our Deliver Green environmental policy by putting something back to the environment and community. The total emission from our company owned vehicles attributed to 1031.432 tonnes of C02e which we have fully offset. The carbon credits purchased go towards renewable and sustainable energy projects for which the Carbon Reduction Institute has one of the best rated carbon credit schemes in the market.
